Any time is a good time for a relaxing massage! You will find a gem of a Day Spa in Mount Tamborine, but if you can’t stand the idea of having to drive after your massage, why not indulge in an in house massage at your accommodation. Both the Roman and Florentine room have plenty of space for a massage ‘at home’.

The new Brewery house and Bar is now open and is located at the southern end of Gallery Walk at 165-185 Long Road. Brewery open 7 days a week, North Tamborine, phone 07 5545 2032. Being located right next to the Cheese factory makes for a delicious combo. Taste before you buy.
Manufacturers of fine Liqueurs, Schnapps, Vodka and Eaux de Vie, all beautifully presented in hand painted bottles. Open Wednesday to Saturday, 10am to 3pm.

Hot Air Balloon in the Scenic Rim
On your way to Tamborine, enjoy taking a ride in a hot air balloon for only $250pp and marvel at the beautiful views from above. Afterwards maybe enjoy a champagne breakfast at Canungra Valley Vineyard, ideal timing to drive up to Tamborine Mountain and have a lovely lunch then check in.

Every Labour Day long weekend the Garter Belts and Gasoline Nostalgia Festival is bringing lovers of the 1940s and 1950s to Mount Tamborine. The weekend usually features the hot rod carnivale, vintage markets and traders, live rockabilly, western swing and roots music, a vintage soap box derby, pin up booth, “kustom kulture art” exhibition, nostalgia movies etc.
Once a year in October the scarecrows take over the mountain! Over 200 scarecrows line a trail along points of interest on the mountain. Great fun for the whole family! Why not enter your own scarecrow – lots of prizes to be won in lots of different categories. Book your accommodation early.
